Savanna Stone
MSW, LCSWA
Savanna earned both her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from North Carolina State University, completing the Advanced Standing program in 2025. She is passionate about supporting adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity development during some of the most formative years of their lives.
Her clinical work is rooted in person-centered, strengths-based care. Savanna focuses on helping teens build self-esteem, increase emotional awareness, and develop healthier coping strategies. She believes that meaningful change begins when young people feel both safe and empowered in the therapeutic space.
A core component of her work is exploring the connection between the mind and body. Savanna is passionate about helping teens understand how stress, trauma, perfectionism, and societal pressures shape their relationship with their bodies, performance, and self-worth. She values supporting clients in developing greater self-acceptance, body neutrality, and self-compassion alongside reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Savanna plans to pursue certification as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) to deepen her ability to provide informed, well-rounded care when body image and disordered eating patterns intersect with broader mental health concerns. She believes that comprehensive treatment requires attention to both emotional experiences and physiological responses, and she is committed to ongoing learning to best serve her clients.
At Bright Path, Savanna values the collaborative team environment and the opportunity to walk alongside teens and families during vulnerable seasons. She strives to create a therapeutic space that balances warmth with structure and where honesty, accountability, and compassion can coexist.
Outside of clinical work, Savanna was a member of the NC State cheer team for three years and proudly served as one of the university’s spirited mascots, Ms. Wuf. She loves all things NC State, spending time at the beach, staying active, and spending time with her two cats and her Golden Retriever.
