Who We Are

Who We Are

Bright Path Behavioral Health is a trauma-informed mental health treatment center specializing in intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) care for teens. Our approach is rooted in the belief that teens already possess the strengths they need to heal—we simply walk beside them to uncover and build those strengths. Located in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Hillsboro, North Craolina Bright Path empowers teens to navigate complex emotions, overcome mental health challenges, and thrive with confidence and support.

Founded on the principle that mental illness is one part of a whole person, Bright Path offers collaborative, evidence-based care with a deep respect for each individual’s identity, culture, and experience. Our dedicated clinical team includes licensed therapists, psychiatric providers, educational liaisons, and teen care advocates—all united in building safe, empowering, and authentic healing spaces.

Our Vision

Make Mental Health Care the Norm

We envision a future where pausing to care for your mental health is not only accepted—but expected. Where teens can access the support they need without stigma or delay. Where programs like ours are part of a thriving network of support, not just th safety net when everything falls apart.

Our Mission

Forging Brighter Paths with Teens

We provide a space where teens can experience feeling welcomed for who they are and where their ideas and autonomy are honored throughout the treatment process. Growth doesn’t end when treatment does, so we empower teens with the skills and self-awareness to keep walking forward after they leave our doors. We do this through:
• evidence-based clinical practices,
• developmentally appropriate care for adolescents,
• an ethically grounded, judgment-free environment, and
• meaningful partnership with teens and families.

Bright Path FAQs

Bright Path offers structured, skill-based programming (PHP & IOP) for teens who
need more support than weekly therapy provides. We combine group, individual,
psychiatric, and family therapy with academic support and creative expression.
