Ivanna graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. in Neurobiology & Behavior and a minor in Medical Anthropology. Her curiosity centers on the threads connecting culture, environment, and social dynamics—and how they shape our neurochemistry and sense of self. She began her professional path in neurodegenerative research, studying the cellular impact of diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
After graduating, Ivanna transitioned into the mental health field, starting at a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) clinic. There, she was inspired by the strength and perseverance of the patients she supported each day.
Wanting to be involved across the full continuum of care, she joined Bright Path—first as an Admissionss Coordinator and now as part of the Aftercare team. This unique vantage point has allowed her to witness both the beginnings and transitions of each family’s experience at Bright Path.
Bright Path has offered Ivanna the opportunity to grow alongside colleagues who share her commitment to whole-person care, self‑growth, and compassionate support for families. Whether she is meeting with families on admission day, researching discharge plans, or connecting with parents to navigate aftercare needs, Ivanna is passionate about ensuring a smooth and supported transition from treatment to the next steps ahead.
She values her role for its focus on creating a system of ongoing support that encourages long‑term healing. In her free time, Ivanna enjoys crocheting, scrapbooking, and listening to vinyl records. She also loves exploring new coffee shops, finding live music, volunteering in her community, and getting outdoors for mindfulness walks.
