Rylee Matechak

MSW, LCSWA

Rylee obtained their Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University in 2023. They went on to complete a Master of Social Work also at NC State (Go Pack!) in 2024. Rylee is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate.

As a queer and neurodivergent identifying therapist, Rylee brings a deeply personal understanding to their work with teens and families. They strive to create a non-judgmental, affirming space where clients feel safe to express themselves authentically.

Rylee emphasizes meeting each client where they are, honoring their unique lived experiences and strengths. They strive to be trauma-informed, client-centered, and continuously learning to provide care that affirms all identities and experiences. Rylee is committed to walking alongside their clients as they discover their own paths toward resilience, self-understanding, and empowerment.

When not at work, Rylee spends their time traveling to new parks in their pop-up camper, doing anything arts and crafts related, and cuddling up with their dog and husband.
