Madeline Peoples

Madeleine earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) in 2020. Madeleine has plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Work to further her education. She is eager to work at Bright Path as an MHT and explore her interests and deepen her experience in clinical mental health.

Madeleine’s passion for social work began with an interest in international practice, including an internship in Galway, Ireland, where she worked with older adults and developed a focus on social isolation, loneliness, and the power of community connection — themes that have resonated across every population she’s served since.

Madeleine is especially passionate about mental health among teens and adults. She is committed to reducing stigma, expanding education and awareness, and creating inclusive spaces where teens can heal and thrive as their authentic selves. She approaches her work by meeting people where they are and maintaining strong cultural competency.

Outside of work, Madeleine enjoys rom coms, reading, building Lego sets, and spending time with her two children.
